'The Door' ART PRINTS by Marta Hutt viking similar to Tongan fakaleiti and"The Door" is a mixed media artwork in which Ive layered portrait drawing onto a photograph I took earlier this year during a trip to my home country. The photograph captures a door of an old housea silent witness to countless comings and goings. On this surface, Ive added doodles, scribbles, and textured paint that speak to the layers of memory, adaptation, and longing tied to a building. A building not only as a physical structure with a roof and
