Measuring approximately 8. 5" in diameter, this lovely piece features a soft blue ground, gilt trim, a delicate floral center, and an embossed Melting Snow molded border. Though unsigned, this distinctive border is attributed to Samuel Alcock, c. 1830. Alcock operated potteries at Burslem and Cobridge from 18281859, making this a beautiful early 19th
