Domaine Auguste Clape 'Vin des Amis' Rouge, 2024 liquor Aged for 10 months inThis wine is made of 100% Syrah from 'friends' vineyards situated between Cornas and the Rhne river. The grapes are whole cluster, and aged in cement, before a 2 month passage in foudre to soften up even more before bottling. Basically declassified Cornas from its most renowned producer. Lighter and more fruit forward than its higher ranking cousin, but still lovely Northern Rhne Syrah. Pair it with juicy homemade burgers on the cast iron, ideally
