Mid-Century Costume Enamel & Paste Snake Collar almandine garnet It was made by AlfredDATE: Mid Century Costume, c. 1940 A cool and unusual costume piece dating from the Mid Century, 1940. Modelled as a snake, this collar features a mesh body, designed to be flexible and also simulate snake scales. The head and tail is finished in vibrant blue enamel, set with a purple and white paste stone "brain", eyes and neck. The head attaches itself to the snakes body, letting you decide on the length around your neck! Crafted in silver gilt, it
