Plant it in full sun in a location with dry to very dry sandy soil. This is a drought tolerant plant. Lavender flowers will bloom March through November. Wild rosemary is sometimes referred to as "false rosemary" to distinguish it from the herb rosemary. While its leaves are edible, it has a minty aroma when crushed.
