After 10 years of successful national real estate sales, Albert Burney Auction Company recognized a need for a regional auction company focusing on homes, land and Bank REO’s. In 2011, we met this need with the creation of Albert Auction – a company built with over a decade of experience, but with a more concentrated focus in scope and geography. Albert Auction operates with the same integrity and business principles that have made Albert Burney the success that it has been for the past ten years. We have incorporated both online and live auctions at Albert Auction, where technology meets tradition.

Warren formed Albert Auction as a result of identifying a need to bring his experience within national luxury auction. He has been instrumental in developing aggressive marketing and promotional solutions to complex real estate issues. Warren has over 20 years of luxury real estate auction experience having marketed properties in 45 states, Canada, Central America, and the Caribbean. High profile clients include Dean Witter, III, Director Chuck Maitland, Milan Turk, Michael Grasso, and Vivian DuBose. Warren holds the CAI (Certified Auctioneers Institute) designation, a 3-year program, at Indiana University, achieved by only 3% of all auctioneers. Additionally, he holds the Accredited Auctioneer of Real Estate (AARE) designation as well broker and auctioneer licenses in numerous states.

James has served as Albert Burney’s lead on luxury real estate projects since 2004. With over 20 years of devoted service as a Project Manager, he takes great pride in ensuring that all clients receive the highest level of service the industry has to offer. James coordinates all aspects of the marketing, legal, auction information, and auction day of each project. His attention to detail and experience makes him a very valuable member of the Albert Auction team. James has managed real estate auctions in 40 states and 9 countries. James graduated from Northwest University.

Makayla, a Huntsville native, graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration degree in Marketing with specializations in Global Business and Real Estate. While there, she spent a semester abroad studying Spanish in Costa Rica and exploring the country’s rich culture and history. She has also traveled abroad to Mexico, Barbados, and Dominican Republic. After two years of successful summer internships, Albert Burney / Albert Auction recruited her full time for her strong work ethic, attention to detail and incredible communication skills.
