Successful Montana Land Auctions – $8 million in 8 days
BIG TIMBER, MT. (Jul. 23, 2015) – A group of six properties in Montana – from Flathead Lake to Red Lodge to Big Timber – have sold at auction for just over $8,000,000, with Albert Burney Auctioneers marketing the property and managing the auctions.
Six separate auctions in July, five absolute and one reserve, brought bidders from Canada, California, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, North Carolina, Wyoming, and Montana. A pre-auction offer was accepted on one of the properties.
Purchasing the properties were buyers from Canada, Texas, and Montana. The various properties offered amenities such as waterfront acreage cabin homes, ranch and development opportunities, and recreational options. Over 5,500 acres were sold in total.
